Scotlandtherapy: Crystal therapy and Reiki

Crystal therapy or gemstone therapy is a relaxing process involving the use of colourful natural crystals, and the process of meditation.

There are a number of theories of how crystal therapy might assist in self healing and well being. These include natural energetic properties of the crystals themselves, the element of colour therapy, and of course the well recognise stress and anxiety reducing process of meditation.

When combined with meditation and mindfulness exercises the client can experience regular meditation at home as well as relaxing therapy sessions in clinic.

Reiki can be used at the same time as crystal therapy, using traditional Reiki, or any one of the many non-traditional energy Reiki methods around today.

Colour therapy and energy kinesiology can be combined in therapy sessions as indicators of problem areas and methods of self help.

As with all complementary therapies, these are not a substitute for medical treatment or attention, and no diagnosis, cure, healing or other medical service is offered or inferred.

Denise is a crystal therapist, counsellor, life coach and complementary therapist offering Reiki, non traditional Reiki, colour therapy, energy kinesiology, Chakra clearing, meditation and relaxation. she has completed level 3 and 4 externally accredited vocational award in a range of complementary therapy methods. She is now also providing Indian Head Massage for stress reduction as part of her integrative mind body psychology approach.

Stuart offers Chi Gung based breathing, movement and Reiki and is a 5th Dan Martial Artist and has completed a level 3 externally accredited vocational award in Chi Gung.

Both therapists adhere to NOS National Occupational Standards.

Both therapists have completed master level traditional Reiki and multiple non traditional Reiki methods as well. Both therapists are SHTC  registered complementary therapists.
