About Us
Stuart and Denise are therapists with externally accredited qualifications from Qualification and Curriculum Authority approved awarding bodies and University level training, adhering to National Occupational Standards and carrying full insurance. Practices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Falkirk.
Services
We provide both general counselling and coaching, and also specialized support assisting people to manage mental illness and diagnosed conditions, working alongside medical support. This complementary therapy support requires the patient to maintain medical support as well.
We use counselling, psychotherapy, life coaching, eastern and western psychology methods to assist clients and couples with general issues, and in managing anger, bipolar, depression, anxiety, NEAD and other conditions.
Stuart is a psychotherapist, counsellor and coach with an MSc Psychology who specializes in mental health management and couples. Stuart graduated with ASM with a diploma in Analysis, Stress Counselling and Clinical Hypnotherapy. Stuart sees clients out of several therapy practices on an appointments basis only.
Both therapists are CNHC registered Hypnotherapists (The official regulator for complementary health). The CNHC is a Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register.
Denise is a counsellor and coach who specializes in moving on from abuse and offending. She has a BSc in a psychology and health based Open degree. Denise graduated with a PBH accredited diploma in Psychotherapy, Analysis, Counselling and Clinical Hypnotherapy. Denise has a primarily support role due to health and disability issues.
Medical conditions are only addressed with the ongoing supervision of a medical professional such as a GP. We are NOT medical practitioners. Mental health and other conditions where NICE guidelines or research evidence exists for psychological therapies are assisted with evidenced therapies as core models in the course of therapy.

Stuart is a NCP and NACHP registered Psychotherapist, CNHC registered Hypnotherapist (regulator in the UK for Hypnotherapy), SHTC registered Coach and Therapist, IPP registered psychologist.
Denise is a NACHP registered hypnotherapist and counsellor, SHTC registered coach and therapist, FHT registered complementary therapist.
Denise and Stuart are registered on the CNHC AR Scheme and the FHT AR Scheme, both for Hypnotherapy. Accredited Registers or AR's are maintained by the Professional Standards Agency for healthcare workers not subject to statutory regulation. Stuart is also on the UKAHPP PSA AR as an ordinary member class psychotherapeutic counsellor (humanistic practice only).
